U12s THYL League and Cup Double

Congratulations to the U12s who completed a league and cup double for 16/17 season.

Having secured the league title two weeks ago, the U12s carried over that scintillating form into the cup competition - winning all three games to consolidate their status as the best team in their category.

The lads showed great character and perseverance to come back from a controversial penalty decision against Newark to win 2-1 in the semi final. Wapping thumped East End 6 - 0 in the final with our midfield maestro, Faysal, bagging himself a hat-trick. Keeper Illyas pulled out all the stops to make sure he ended his day with a clean sheet, and together, Wapping u12, won the unprecedented double.
